Use the Manage Leasing Agents window to add, edit, deactivate, and delete the Leasing Agents that customers use to purchase equipment.
When a Leasing Agent is selected on an invoice, the invoice report shows the equipment as Sold To the leasing agent, and Shipped To the customer.

You can add a new leasing agent at any time.
To add edit an leasing agent

Navigate
to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Leasing
Agents.
The Manage Leasing Agents window opens.
Click
Add.
The Add Leasing Agent window opens.
In
the Name*
box, enter a unique description for the leasing agent.
For example, National Leasing. This name appears anywhere that you
select or view a leasing agent and in all related reports.
Enter
the Address of the leasing agent, including
City*,
Province*,
Country*,
and Postal Code.
The address appears in all related reports.
New leasing agents are Active by default.
Click
Save.
The Add Leasing Agent window closes.
You can edit any of your existing leasing agents at any time.
To edit a leasing agent
Navigate
to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Leasing
Agents.
The Manage Leasing Agents window opens.
From
the list of leasing agents select the one to edit, then click Edit.
The Edit Leasing Agent window opens.
Make your changes.
Click
Save.
The Edit Leasing Agent window closes.
A leasing agent can be deactivated if you no longer deal with that agent. An inactive leasing agent cannot be selected on new invoices but will not be removed from existing ones.
To deactivate a leasing agent
Navigate
to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Leasing
Agents.
The Manage Leasing Agents window opens.
From
the list of leasing agents select the one to deactivate, then click
Edit.
The Edit Leasing Agent window opens.
Uncheck the Active check box.
Save the change.
The leasing agent is deactivated immediately.
A leasing agent cannot be deleted if it has been used but it can be deactivated. When you delete a leasing agent, it is no longer available.
To delete a leasing agent
Navigate
to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Leasing
Agents.
The Manage Leasing Agents window opens.
In the Payment Type list, select the leasing agent to delete and then click Delete.
Note
If the Delete button is not available, the leasing agent you selected has been used and cannot be deleted.
Click
Yes to confirm the deletion.
The leasing agent is deleted.
