Loadout Tickets

Loadout tickets are used to record products taken by or delivered to customers. These tickets allow you to record this inventory depletion without creating an invoice since pricing is not a part of the loadout ticket process.

Loadout Tickets are also referred to as Bills of Lading or Delivery Slips.

Some reasons for using loadout tickets may be as follows:

Multiple Deliveries: Multiple loadout tickets can be entered at different times and then combined into one invoice later. This allows the customer to receive only one invoice for multiple deliveries, and it simplifies the billing process.

Price Setting: Pricing may not be determined by staff who distribute or deliver the products; therefore, loadout tickets allow delivery staff to record movement of inventory while allow invoicing to be administered by others. In addition, loadout tickets are useful when the price is determined after the customer receives the product.

Data Entry: Loadout tickets require less data entry than invoices. Therefore, during busy periods, loadout tickets can be used to expedite the service to customers.
