You can deactivate or activate projects at any time. When you add a project, the default setting is active, but you can also activate a project that has been deactivated.

When a project is deactivated, you can still reference the project, but you cannot post to it.

To deactivate a project

Navigate to General Ledger > Manage > Projects.
The Manage Projects window opens.

In the Active column, clear the Active? check box of the project you want to deactivate.

Click Save.

To activate a project

Navigate to General Ledger > Manage > Projects.
The Manage Projects window opens.

In the Active column, select the Active? check box of the project you want to activate.

Click Save.
