Use the Manage Operators window to add, edit, activate or deactivate, and remove operators. An operator is an employee who is needed to provide the services identified on loadout tickets.

To add an operator
Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Operators.
The Manage Operators window opens.
In the Description column, enter a unique name for the operator.
Maximum number of characters = 30.
Ensure the Active check box is selected.
Active is selected by default after the description has been entered.
Tip
Add all operators before clicking Save since saving also closes the window.
Click Save.
You can edit any of your existing operators at any time by changing their descriptions. You can also change the active status.
To edit an operator
Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Operators.
The Manage Operators window opens.
In the Description column, change the operator’s name.
Tip
Edit all operators before clicking Save since saving also closes the window.
Click Save.
When you add an operator, the default setting is active, but you can also activate an operator that has been deactivated.
When an operator is deactivated, you can still reference the operator on existing loadout tickets and Loadout Ticket reports that reference the operator, but you cannot use the operator on new loadout tickets.
To deactivate an operator
Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Operators.
The Manage Operators window opens.
In the Active column, clear the Active check box of the operator you want to deactivate.
Click Save.
To activate an operator
Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Operators.
The Manage Operators window opens.
In the Active column, select the Active check box of the operator you want to activate.
Click Save.
Removing operators deletes them from the database. You cannot remove operators that have been used or are in use on loadout tickets.
To remove an operator
Navigate to Accounts Receivable > Manage > Operators.
The Manage Operators window opens.
In the Description column, select the operator to remove.
Click Remove Operator.
Note
If the Remove Operator button is not available, the operator you selected has been used or is in use on a loadout ticket and cannot be removed.
Click Yes to confirm the removal.
The operator is removed.
Click Save.
