Outstanding Bank Transactions

Outstanding Transactions for the Initial Bank Reconciliation

As you complete your first bank reconciliation in agrē, you may find that some of the transactions that appear on your statement are not reflected in detailed postings in agrē. The transactions, however, are included in your agrē starting balance (e.g., cheques that have not yet cleared). These transactions must still be accounted for in the reconciliation process without creating any journal entries.

Use the Outstanding Bank Transactions window to enter outstanding bank transactions without making postings that hit the general ledger.

I want to read the Initial Bank Reconciliation white paper (with screen shots).

Other reasons for using Outstanding Bank Transactions

you enter the total of payroll cheques as a lump sum; it's the end of the month and some of the cheques have not been cashed yet

To enter an outstanding bank transaction
