Countries

Use the Manage Countries window to add, edit, activate or deactivate, and remove countries.

To add a country

Navigate to File > Manage > Country List.
The Manage Countries window opens.

In the Country column, enter the name of the country.

Ensure the Active check box is selected.

Tips

Active is selected by default after the country has been entered.

Add all countries before clicking Save since saving also closes the window.

Click Save.

Editing Countries

You can edit any of your existing countries at any time by changing their name. You can also change the active status. For information on deactivating and activating countries, see Deactivating and Activating Countries.

To edit a country

Navigate to File > Manage > Country List.
The Manage Countries window opens.

In the Country column, change the name of the country.

Tip

Edit all countries before clicking Save since saving also closes the window.

Click Save.

Deactivating and Activating Countries

When you add a country, the default setting is active, but you can also activate a country that has been deactivated.

When a country is deactivated, you can still reference the country on existing records, but you cannot use the country in agrē.

To deactivate a country

Navigate to File > Manage > Country List.
The Manage Countries window opens.

In the Active column, clear the Active check box of the country you want to deactivate.

Click Save.

To activate a country

Navigate to File > Manage > Country List.
The Manage Countries window opens.

In the Active column, select the Active check box of the country you want to activate.

Click Save.

Removing Countries

Removing countries deletes them from the database. You cannot remove countries that have been used or are in use in agrē.

To remove a country

Navigate to File > Manage > Country List.
The Manage Countries window opens.

In the Country column, select the country to remove.

Click Remove Country.

Note

If the Remove Country button is not available, the country you selected has been used or is in use in agrē and cannot be removed.

Click Yes to confirm the removal.
The country is removed.

Click Save.
