Your configuration settings help you to customize agrē so that you can control how agrē functions and behaves for your company. There are three configuration levels: Company, Location, and User.
The Company level is global. If you do not have location level configuration settings or user level configuration settings specified, agrē uses the company level. The company configuration settings are applied the same way for all locations and users.
The Location level configuration settings are specific to individual locations in your company that require different settings from the company level. Location level settings override company level settings.
The User level configuration settings are specific to each individual in your company using agrē who requires unique settings. User level settings override location and company settings.
Each level may have its own unique settings to specify configuration options that other levels do not have.
Note
If you do not have company, location, or user configuration settings specified, agrē automatically uses its own default settings. You cannot view or change these settings.
Tip
It is recommended that company level configuration settings are always specified. If you add new locations or users to agrē, you will have global settings already set.
Caution
n order to apply any changes made to your configuration settings, you must log off and then back on to agrē. Clicking Save does not always immediately apply the changes made to configuration settings to agrē.
Additionally, you can set specific customer level configuration settings for each customer in the agrē database, and you can specify specific invoice configuration settings on invoices.
For information on customer level configuration settings, see Manage Customers Level.
For information on invoice level configuration settings, see Invoice Level.
