Use the Release Numbers window to delete a release number. A release number cannot be deleted if it is referenced on inventory receipts. Once you delete a release number, it cannot be undone.
To delete a release number
On
the Inventory menu, point to Manage
and then click Release Numbers.
The Release Number Search window opens.
Find the release number(s) using the various search criteria. The search results are shown in the Release Numbers window.
In the Release Number list, select the release number to delete and then click Delete.
Tip
If the release number you want to delete does not appear in the list, click New Search and change your criteria.
Note
If the Delete button is not available, the release number you selected cannot be deleted (most likely because it has been used).
Click
Yes to confirm the deletion.
The release number is deleted.
