Using a mobile device to access agrē isn't that much different from using a computer or a laptop, but bigger is usually better as the smaller the device screen-size the more you'll need to scroll around to see the entire contents of a window. You may want to learn a few keyboard shortcuts for agrē and for your operating system to make getting around and entering data a little easier.

Tip

Here's a handy drop-down menu keyboard shortcut for Windows devices: press ALT+Down Arrow to open up a drop-down list, then use the Up and Down Arrows to scroll through the list of options; when you've highlighted the one you want, press TAB to select it and move on to the next data field.

Your device's operating system rules apply no matter what application you're using. For example, if your device activates an automatic screen-saver or "goes to sleep" after a certain amount of idle time has passed (which also kicks you out of any active sessions, or puts them on stand-by), those rules will still apply when you're logged in to agrē. You will need to make modifications to your device's power conservation settings to change these behaviours.

Installing Citrix Workspace on Windows Surface Pro

Using a browser, login via our Hosted Login and install Citrix Workspace from there (that's part of the magic of the Surface Pro - Citrix Workspace treats it just like any other Windows machine).

You can also navigate to Citrix's website and install directly from there.

 

Non-windows mobile devices

Can I run agrē and Grower Central on my Mac and iPad, or on my non-Windows smart phone, tablet, or other mobile device?

Grower Central is a regular website - it can be accessed from any device with a web browser (Apple Mac/iPhone/iPad, Android phone/tablet) just like any other website.

agrē is designed and developed as a Windows application, so Tronia can offer support only when running it on a Windows platform (there are mainstream Windows applications that cannot run at all, or have limited or different functionality, when accessed from a non-Windows based device).

That being said, for our hosted agrē customers there are versions of Citrix Workspace available for other operating systems. These Citrix Workspace clients can be installed on non-Windows devices, but as we have not tested them we are unable to provide support on their install and use. Android

Citrix Workspace for Android can be downloaded from Google Play.

Apple

For Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad, download Citrix Workspace from the App Store. There's a separate client for the Mac available directly from Citrix.
