Manage Commodity Prices window is used for entering current prices by commodity and delivery month.
What you'll find:
Note
Existing Prices and Basis can be Edited just by changing the dollar value and saving.
To set commodity prices:
Navigate
to Grain > Manage > Commodity Prices.
The Manage Commodity Prices window opens.
Non-Hedgeable Commodities
Non-Hedgeable is the default commodity type.
Choose a Year and select Retrieve.
Type Purchases and Sales price values for each applicable Delivery Month.
After
pricing has been entered, click Save.
The Prices table/grid is cleared.
Tip
Start Over discards your changes and clears the Prices table/grid.
Hedgeable Commodities
Select Hedgeable, then select the hedgeable Commodity from the dropdown.
Choose a Year and select Retrieve.
Type
Purchases and Sales
Basis values for each applicable Delivery Month.
Future months and pricing are pulled from Manage
Futures Month/Year.
After
pricing has been entered, click Save.
The Prices table/grid is cleared, and you can select another hedgeable
commodity.
After
all pricing has been entered, click Exit.
The Manage Commodity Prices window closes.
