New Mapped Products/FCL Items are imported into agrē via CRS Hub. These products are imported already mapped to the corresponding FCL item, so no mapping needs to be done manually in order to communicate with the FCL mainframe (only inventory products that have mapped can be eOrdered). You can import a single item, all the items in a merchandise department or category, or any number of items in between (up to a maximum of 500 at a time). After a product has been imported, all data fields not maintained by the FCL mainframe can be edited.
New Retail-Created products (that exist in your database only, and are wholly managed and maintained by your retail) can be added directly to agrē.
I want to read the white paper about Importing Masterfiles (with lots of screenshots)
What you'll find:
Before you start importing items, you’ll want to indicate which categories of products you will want to import. There are tens of thousands of items available for import, so pre-filtering by category means you won’t have to wade through items you are never going to need.
After you’ve selected and saved your tree branches (see above) you can start importing items either individually or in batches (maximum of 500 at a time). Products can be imported any time so you can import just the ones you need now, and import others later as required.
After being imported, most product data fields can be edited. The ones that are maintained on the FCL mainframe are read-only in agrē.
Any SRP pricing available from the FCL mainframe will also be imported - but not all items on the FCL mainframe have SRP pricing so you will likely need to set at least some pricing manually. You'll probably want to confirm the taxes too. You'll also need to add any Fertilizer Act Requirements and Permits.
